Project Engineer GUIDING
Job Description
- North American Manufacturing Company, a leading supplier of strip and web guiding systems, is seeking a Project Engineer located in Cleveland, OH.
Job Responsibilities
- The Project Engineer will have overall responsibility for the application concept, design, manufacturing release, and field startup of strip and web guiding products and systems. Tasks generally include customer specification and application review, component specification, vendor sourcing, mechanical product and assembly design, manufacturing release, system test, and field commercialization..
Requirements
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineering undergraduate degree. Post graduate technical degree and/or Professional Engineer licensee is beneficial
- Experience in the design and manufacture of mechanical products or machinery. Demonstrated ability to select and size motors, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, pneumatic components, and other mechanical hardware
- Experience in modeling and detailing in Pro/E. Pro/E Wildfire and PTC Intralink experience a plus
- A familiarity with control scheme processes and/or PLC systems
- Technical field service and shop floor manufacturing experience
- Ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%)
